One thing my recent dietary changes has brought about is Learning To Like Foods I Always Thought I Hated. I’m broadening my food horizons these days. I’ve never been a big fan of squash necessarily, but this Savory Roasted Butternut Squash has me rethinking the I Don’t Like Squash thing I’ve claimed for so long. Because it’s really very good. And it’s good for you.
Looking for some great ideas for those Fuel Pull snacks, Trim Healthy Mamas? Since I’ve been on the Trim Healthy Mama plan, I haven’t done a whole lot of Fuel Pull snacks or meals, since they are more restrictive in both carbs and fat. I don’t like restrictions…what can I say? Well, and part of it was that I didn’t want to blow it and end up with something E… Continue Reading
Like I mentioned in my Spicy Sour Cream Sauce post, I’m loving hot and spicy foods these days. Sriracha sauce gets liberally applied to just about anything. These DIY iced tea bags are a great way to use your favorite loose leaf teas to make refreshing summer beverages. Do you have one of those sun tea jars with the spigot at the bottom and a handle on the lid? If you’re like me, you… Continue Reading
Do you cringe when you have to throw away leftover food? If you are a Trim Healthy Mama, you know the pain of wasted food – especially when that leftover dish was made with Baking Blend or organic, grassfed gelatin. I try very hard not to waste food in general, but I’m even more vigilant about my precious THM ingredients! One trash-day morning, I decided to clean out the fridge… Continue Reading
