I was in one of those I’m Hungry But Nothing Sounds Good And I Don’t Feel Like Cooking moods. It’s a familiar mood, unfortunately. Last night when I went to bed, I was determined to get up in the morning and spend time with YHWH and His Word first thing. BEFORE checking email and Facebook and YouFood. Before writing blog posts (another area in which I was feeling uninspired). I… Continue Reading
I whipped up this super easy Caramel Apple Yogurt for a snack today. Ever since my recent trip to the Middle East, I’ve been struggling a bit to stay on plan. One of the things that I mourned at the thought of HAVING to be gluten free (instead of just choosing…very different, you see…) was bread. There is nothing so comforting as the smell of a delicious, yeasty wheat bread baking in the oven and filling the house with wheaty, carbolicious joy. And, God has given me a gift with bread making…I can usually turn out a pretty mean loaf. Then… Continue Reading
